1. Basic Sailor
- Beginning sailors, able to operate neutral ships and armaments.
2. Bridge Operator
- The captain of the ship; you can select the next ship through him as he levels up.
3. Radio Man
- Able to help you from a Fleet or Squadron. You are able to manage a buddy list and send messages to friends through him as well.
4. Armament Sailor
- Able to operate early Guns and Torpedoes.
5. Gunner
- The Gunner is a step up from Armament Sailor. He can operate higher level guns and has higher ability rates than an Armament Sailor.
- There are two types of Gunners Reload and Accuracy available to the U.S and U.K. If you select a Reload Gunner then their reload ability rate is higher than accuracy rate, and vice versa.
ACC Gunner: consistent accurate shots, slow reload time.
RLD Gunner: inconsistent accurate shots, fast reload time.
6. Heavy Gunner
- The Heavy Gunner is a step up from Gunner. He can operate upper level guns and has higher ability rates than Gunner.
- There are two types of Heavy Gunners Heavy Reload and Heavy Accuracy available to the U.S and U.K. The Heavy Reload Gunner has a higher reload ability rate than accuracy rate, and vice versa.
ACC.Hvy.Gunner: consistent accurate shots, slow reload time.
RLD.Hvy.Gunner: inconsistent accurate shots, fast reload time.
7. Huge Gunner
- The Huge Gunner is a step up from Heavy Gunner. He can run upper level guns and has higher ability rates than Heavy Gunner.
- There are two types of Huge Gunners Huge Reload and Huge Accuracy available to the U.S and U.K. The Huge Reload gunner has a higher reload ability rate than accuracy rate, and vice versa.

8. Chief Gunner
- The Chief Gunner is only available to Japan and Germany. He is a step up from Huge Gunner and has higher ability rates than Huge Gunner.
9. Torpedo Man
The Torpedo Man is specialized in operating torpedoes and is able to access higher level torpedoes.
- Germany does not have this class of sailor; the Gunner has the ability to operate torpedoes, instead.
10. Heavy Torpedo
- - A Heavy Torpedo sailor is a step up from Torpedo Man. He can operate higher level torpedoes and has a higher ability rate than Torpedo Man.
- Germany does not have this class of sailor ; the Gunner has the ability to operate
11. Hyper Torpedo
- Only Japan has the availability of a "Hyper Torpedo" sailor. He is a step up from a "Heavy Torpedo Man". His ability rate is higher than that of "Heavy Torpedo Man".
12. Special Torpedo
- Only available in Japan, the "Special Torpedo" sailor can operate special torpedoes.
13. AA Gunner
- An AA Gunner operates Anti Aircraft guns.
14. 2nd AA Gunner
- Only available in U.S. and U.K. He is a step up from an AA Gunner. He has a higher ability rate than the AA Gunner.
15. 1st AA Gunner
- Only Available in U.S. and U.K. He is a step up from the 2nd AA Gunner. He has a higher ability rate than a 2nd AA Gunner.
16. Chief AA Gunner
- Only available in the U.S. He a step up from the 1st AA Gunner. He has a higher ability rate than a 1st AA Gunner.
17. Rapid Fire AA Gunner
- Only available in Germany. A step up from an AA Gunner. He has a higher ability rate than an AA Gunner.
18. Chief Rapid Fire AA Gunner
- Only available in Germany. He is a step up from a Rapid Fire AA Gunner. He has a higher ability rate than the Rapid Fire AA Gunner.
19. 2nd Machinery Gunner
- Only available in Japan. He increases the accuracy of automated AA Guns on ships.
20. 1st Machinery Gunner
- Only available in Japan. He increases the accuracy of automated AA Guns on ships and has a higher ability rate than "2ndMAC.Gunner".
21. Chief Machinery Gunner
- Only available in Japan. He increases the accuracy of automated AA Guns on ships and has a higher ability rate than "1st MAC.Gunner".
22. Special Force
- Special Force sailors are able to eventually become: "Pilot, Airlift Force, or Landing Force".
23. Rookie Pilot
- Rookie Pilot can operate a "Spy Plane".
24. Fighter Pilot
- Fighter Pilot is a step up from "Rookie Pilot". They can fly fighters.
* Tip: A Fighter Pilot CANNOT operate a "Spy Plane" once they become Fighter Pilot.
25. Ace Fighter Pilot
- A step up from "Fighter Pilot". He has a higher ability rate than "Fighter Pilot".
26. Fight Squadron Leader
- A step up from "Ace Fighter Pilot". Has a higher ability rate than "Ace Fighter Pilot".
27. Torpedo Bomber Pilot
- A Torpedo Bomber Pilot can be upgraded from "Rookie Pilot" for operating Torpedo Bombers.
* Tip: A Torpedo Bomber Pilot CANNOT operate a "Spy Plane" once they become Torpedo Bomber Pilot.
28. Ace Torpedo Bomber Pilot
- A step up from "Torpedo Bomber Pilot". He has a higher ability rate than "Torpedo Bomber Pilot".
29. Torpedo Bomber Squadron Leader
- Only available in Japan and U.K. He is a step up from "Ace Torpedo Bomber Pilot". He has a higher ability rate than "Ace Torpedo Bomber Pilot".
30. Dive Bomber Pilot
- A Dive Bomber Pilot can be upgraded from "Rookie Pilot" for operating "Dive Bombers".
* Tip: A Dive Bomber Pilot CANNOT operate a "Spy Plane" once they become a Dive Bomber Pilot. Dive Bomber can be upgraded from a "Torpedo Bomber Pilot" in U.S and U.K.
31. Ace Dive Bomber Pilot
- A step up from a "Dive Bomber Pilot". He has a higher ability rate than a "Dive Bomber Pilot".
32. Dive Bomber Squadron Leader
- Only available in U.S. and Japan. He is a step up from an "Ace Torpedo Bomber Pilot". He has a higher ability rate than "Ace Torpedo Bomber Pilot".
33. Airlift Force
- Airlift Force is used for capturing enemy H.Q. in "Harbor Assault" mode.
34. Fallschirmjager
- Only Available in Germany. He is a step up from "Airlift Force". He has a higher ability than "Airlift Force".
35. Airborne
- He is a step up from "Airlift Force". He has a higher ability than "Airlift Force".
36. Kuyubutai
- Only Available in Japan. He is a step up from "Airlift Force". He has a higher ability than "Airlift Force".
37. Air Assault
- Only available in U.K. He is a step up from "Airlift Force". He has a higher ability than "Airlift Force".
38. Landing Force
- Landing Force is used for capturing enemy H.Q in the "Harbor Assault" game mode.
39. Marine
- Only available in Germany. He is a step up from "Landing Force". He has a higher ability than "Landing Force".
40. U.S Marine
- Only available in U.S. he is a step up from "Landing Force". He has a higher ability than "Landing Force".
41. Yook Jun Dea
- Only available in Japan. He is a step up from "Landing Force". He has a higher ability than "Landing Force".
42. Royal Marine
- Only available in U.K. He is a step up from "Landing Force". He has a higher ability than "Landing Force".
43. Support Sailor
- Support Force is a recruit capable of becoming: "Engineer, Repairer, or Restorer".
44. 2nd Engineer
- 2nd Engineer increases overheat time while the ship is in maximum speed mode.
45. 1st Engineer
- 1st Engineer increases the maximum speed and overheat time. He has a better ability rate than "2nd Engineer".
46. Chief Engineer
- Only available in Germany. A Chief Engineer increases maximum speed and overheat time. He has a better ability rate than "1st Engineer".
47. 2nd Repairer
- 2nd Repairer repairs the ship when the ship is damaged.
48. 1st Repairer
- 1st Repairer allows for a faster repair time. He has a higher ability rate than "2nd Repairer".
49. Chief Repairer
- Only available in U.K., Chief Repairer enables faster repair time. He has a higher ability than "1st Repairer".
50. 2nd Restorer
- 2nd Restorer decreases maximum damage from enemy attack and increases a ship's maximum repair point.
51. 1st Restorer
- Only available in U.S, U.K. and Germany, 1st Restorer decreases maximum damage from enemy attack and increases a ship's maximum repair point.
52. Chief Restorer
- Only available in U.K., Chief Restorer decreases maximum damage from enemy attack and increases a ship's maximum repair point.
53. 2nd Seaman
- 2nd Seaman increases ability rates for all sailors on the ship, including "Special Force" types.
54. 1st Seaman
- 1st Seaman increases ability rates for all sailors in the ship, including "Special Force" types. He has higher ability rates than "2nd Seaman".
55. Chief Seaman
- Chief Seaman increases ability rates for all sailors in the ship, including "Special Force" types. He has higher ability rates than "1st Seaman".
56. Medic
- Medic reduces the sailor's death rate during battle.
